Are you an experienced CNC Turner with programming experience? If you are and looking to take on a new challenge we are looking for individuals just like you!

This role is primarily to programme, set and operate CNC Lathes.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Fanuc controlled turning centres, be experienced in setting tools and offsets, proving programmes through to "first off" stage. Also they will to be able to work on their own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include:

* To set CNC turning machines (lathes) for production within allocated times
* To operate machines making adjustments to the machine settings as required
* To work with customer drawings, files and specifications to create CNC Programs, Set and Operate with minimum supervision
* Ensure that allocated operation times are achieved
* Fill daily activity sheets
* To be aware of and observe personal health and safety, and that of the fellow members
* Maintain highest quality throughout the process, including dimensionally inspect manufactured product, using a variety of measuring equipment, to ensure the drawing requirements are achieved

Experience, qualifications and skills:

* Experience with Fanuc
* Experience with programming, setting and operating
* Must be competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Able to program Online and Offline to gain maximum efficiency
* Be an interactive team player, promoting and supporting a culture of continual improvement, 5s and Lean manufacturing standards
