job description

Randstad are recruiting for both Electrical Assemblers and Electrical Fitters on a temporary basis for a client based in Clevedon.

The contract will last at least until the end of the year and you will be paid on an hourly rate.

The skill sets that we require for each role are as follows:

Electrical Fitters:

  • 16th/17th/18th edition qualified
  • From an electro/mechanical production assembly background
  • Confident wiring and soldering
  • Significant experience in loom and harness wiring
  • Previous experience in prototype wiring
  • Perform tests to ensure accuracy of the installation
  • Confident working from highly detailed schematics

Electrical Assemblers:

  • Installation of pre-wired panels
  • Loom and harness wiring
  • Following the relevant engineering drawings to run cables and wire-in various subassemblies
  • Perform tests to ensure accuracy of the installation
  • Previous experience in production/manufacturing background

Shift Patterns:

  • Early: 6am - 2pm
  • Day: 8am - 4pm
  • Late: 2pm - 10pm

Pay:

  • Fitter - starts at £13.91/hour (PAYE rate) OR £18.13/hour (Umbrella rate)
    • + 15% shift premium for early shifts (£16.00/hour / £20.85/hour)
    • + 25% shift premium for late shifts (£17.39/hour / £22.66/hour)
  • Assembler - starts at £11.31/hour (PAYE)
    • + 15% shift premium for early shifts (£13.01/hour)
    • + 25% shift premium for late shifts (£14.14/hour)
