job description

I am urgently looking for several Embedded Software Engineers in Hereford.

The company have dramatically increased workload and as a result are looking for several new engineers.

They are looking for candidates with the following skill set :

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Masters/PhD is an advantage depending
on the experience.


- A minimum 6 years of proven experience as an Embedded Software Engineer in projects
involving RF, protocol testing or new product development and good understanding of
software lifecycle.


- Experienced in C, C++ and C# and working with micro-controllers.


- Experience in board bring-up is essential for supporting hardware knowledge.


- Experience of generating tests plans from requirement specifications or use cases.


- Experience with protocol modelling in Matlab or knowledge of web based application
testing and development will be a distinct advantage.


- Experience developing products in the Fire or Construction industry is highly desirable.


- Experience of SVN or other source control systems such as Github and of using bug
tracking databases such as Jira.

The salary is up to £50,000 which comes with a great benefits package ( Pension, Bonus, Shares e.t.c.).
