I am looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated graduate level electronics engineer to assist the existing design team. The opportunity will exist to gain experience in the design of electronic circuits, RF circuits, firmware and software.

You will be part of a dynamic engineering team who continually develop world beating products for the aerospace and defence markets.

You will be supported in your continuing professional development and will be encouraged to work towards Chartership

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout of electronic circuits.
  • Developing firmware on printed circuit boards using C, C++ and VHDL.
  • Produce manufacturing documents such as requirement specifications, part lists, circuit diagrams and test documentation.
  • Liaise with other departments to assist with product manufacture and fault finding.

Skills

  • Sound knowledge of C or C++ and ideally VHDL.
  • Electronic circuit design and layout.
  • Sound knowledge of electronic principles and techniques.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • British Citizen due to required security clearance

Desirable

  • Basic RF knowledge would be desirable.
  • Ability to complete projects including all necessary paperwork.
