We are on the look out for a Junior Quality Engineer to join a leading client of ours; it is a fantastic opportunity to be working in the Marine industry leading inspection and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.


* Lead inspection and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment
* Work closely with the shop floor, design engineering and production to ensure that products are of the highest standard.
* A highly organised, self-starter and logical thinker.
* Clear positive work ethic with a desire to get the job done.
* Excellent communication skills: ability to deal effectively and considerately with a wide variety of individuals.
* An enthusiastic, positive, calm and accommodating approach to work and changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
* A high level of attention to detail, with an aspiration to deliver technical excellence.
* Commitment to achieving the company's long-term business objectives and succeeding as a team.
* Maintenance of the Component Quality Plan Database.
* Creating and maintaining component inspection plans.


* 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
* A proven ability to drive quality improvements though the implementation and development of quality systems.
* Experience in the creation of production documentation.
* A track record of developing and maintain a system quality metrics with both an internal and customer focus.
* Able to communicate at all levels within the organisation and customer's quality departments.
* Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles, proficient in solving problems.
* Development, management and running of testing to ensure production standards and product specification.
* HND or Degree in a relevant subject and evidence of CPD within the quality discipline
