Planning Engineer

Are you an experienced Planner who has worked in the engineering sector for a number of years?

TATA Steel are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join their business on an initial 12 month contract and based at their Shotton Site. You will be working alongside industry leading professionals on a variety of major projects.

* Create and maintain project schedules that support and align with project requirements.
* Compiling cost and resource forecast data.
* Create and Manage numerous Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) In Primavera P6
* Analyse critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
* Monitor and consolidate the overall project plans.
* Perform project related reporting to the Project team and management on a monthly basis to ensure that the project stays on time and within budget.
* Provide a clear, visible, accurate and transparent account of the project critical path analysis.


* Be knowledgeable in working with MS Projects or Primavera and capability to create plans from scratch
* Have an understanding of Risk management
* Posses excellent report writing and presentation skills
* Experienced or knowledgeable of resourcing, progress measurement, Earned Value Analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting.
