Project Manager

Are you a highly experience Project Manager who has a desire to work in a defence and the for the public sector? Do you have the skills to multi-task multiple projects which are of high value? If so then this is the role for you!

We are looking to recruit for our top Defence client a Project Manager to lead the successful execution of contracted projects and the development of proposals. This Project Manager role is required to define, initiate, lead and manage proposals within the businesses portfolio of programmes in cyber security/systems.


Details of position

The Project Manager (PM) is accountable for the definition, coordination, direction and assurance of one or more projects that deliver the outputs that enable the Science &Technology (S&T) outcomes of the parent programme. The PM is responsible for the delivery of the Projects in accordance with the Project Mandate.
The PM ensures that the project operates within the agreed performance, quality, time and cost envelope. They work closely with the Programme Manager who will oversee the generation of project goals and monitoring project performance.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

* Able to demonstrate the professional credibility required to work collaboratively across project and organisational boundaries;
* Confident in the use of project management tools e.g. Microsoft Project and processes, e.g. progress reporting

Qualifications

Project Management Qualification (such as APM PFQ, APM PMQ, or PRINCE2)
Contract Management Capability Programme - Foundation (CMCP) (or achieve within first three months in own time)
Membership of appropriate professional body within project delivery (e.g. Association for Project Management (APM).

Due to the nature of the buisness you must have been born in the UK and currently hold security SC clearance.
