My client, an established company who serves the Semiconductor and Microelectronics industry, is looking for a Test Technician to start at their site in Dursley as soon as possible.

As a Test Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Performing functional testing on the products that are manufactured by the company.
  • Carrying out basic de-bug and fault finding.
  • Assisting with calibration and/or maintenance actions and fault finding of the engineering test equipment
  • First line fault finding on burn-in boards and driver cards.
  • Assisting with the design and manufacture of board test equipment.
  • Assisting with inspection of company products.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

  • An interest in electronics, industry experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Practical and technical aptitude
  • A minimum requirement of GCSE's in English, Mathematics and Science, grades A-C

You will receive a salary of £18,000-£20,000, depending on experience, over a 37.5 hour week. The role will begin as a temporary position and will go permanent after the first two months.
